National Skills Agency Ltd is launching a new recruitment division focused on supplying skilled blue-collar workers into engineering and construction. This Recruitment Consultant role combines business development, account management and candidate delivery with a high degree of autonomy.

You will build a new desk, win clients, develop candidate communities and shape the division's growth strategy while working remotely with occasional client visits; you’ll help turn opportunities into long-term

Qualifications

• Proven track record in 360 recruitment.
• Experience recruiting into engineering, manufacturing, construction, trades or blue-collar markets.
• Strong business-development skills with ability to win new clients.
• Excellent telephone, outreach and networking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build a new recruitment desk focused on blue-collar engineering and construction roles.
• Identify and engage employers with ongoing or high-volume recruitment needs.
• Generate new business through calls, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and meetings.
• Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, operational leaders and business owners.
• Understand clients’ immediate labour requirements and longer-term workforce challenges.
• Source, screen and manage candidates across engineering, construction and related technical fields.
• Build sustainable candidate pipelines and talent pools in key occupational areas.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from vacancy to onboarding.
• Negotiate rates, salaries, terms and commercial agreements.
• Develop repeat business rather than one-off placements.
• Collaborate with the wider Group to identify broader training and skills solutions.
• Help shape the division's proposition, processes and growth strategy.
