Job summary

National Skills Agency is launching a new recruitment division in Derby, focusing on blue-collar engineering and construction roles. You'll own a hands-on 360° desk, responsible for business development, client management and candidate delivery.

This role offers autonomy to shape the division, build candidate communities and forge long-term relationships with employers and the wider group to explore skills and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in 360° recruitment across engineering or construction
• Proven ability to win new clients and develop business
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with capability to build a desk from scratch

Responsibilities

• Build a new recruitment desk focused on blue-collar roles in engineering and construction
• Identify and engage employers with ongoing or high-volume hiring needs
• Generate new business via phone, LinkedIn, networking and in-person meetings
• Develop candidate communities and manage end-to-end delivery from vacancy to placement
• Negotiate rates, terms and continue to build repeat business
• Collaborate with wider group to identify training and skills-solution opportunities
