National Skills Agency is launching a new recruitment division in Derby, focusing on blue-collar engineering and construction roles. You'll own a hands-on 360° desk, responsible for business development, client management and candidate delivery.
This role offers autonomy to shape the division, build candidate communities and forge long-term relationships with employers and the wider group to explore skills and training opportunities.
Job Title: Recruitment Consultant (Engineering & Construction)
Location: Derby
Salary: £30-£35k
Our client is launching a new recruitment division focused initially on supplying skilled blue-collar workers into the engineering and construction sectors.
They are looking for an experienced, commercially driven Recruitment Consultant who wants more than simply inheriting a desk and filling vacancies. This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up.
You'll take ownership of developing the recruitment offering, winning new clients, building candidate communities and establishing our client as a credible recruitment partner across engineering and construction.
Importantly, recruitment is also part of a much bigger strategy. By helping employers solve their immediate workforce challenges, you'll build relationships that can naturally develop into broader conversations around skills, apprenticeships, workforce development and commercial training delivered through other areas of the wider Group.
This will initially be a hands-on 360° recruitment role, combining business development, account management and candidate delivery. You'll have considerable autonomy to shape how the division develops.
They aren't necessarily looking for someone who wants to remain a Recruitment Consultant forever. They are interested in someone who can look at a blank sheet of paper and see an opportunity.
Someone entrepreneurial. Someone who enjoys winning business. Someone who gets satisfaction from turning a new client into a long-term relationship. Someone who can operate with freedom but also takes responsibility for delivering results.
