Job summary

Reach plc is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor on a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract, remote in the UK. Salary GBP 32,000 - GBP 35,000 yearly. You will manage a varied ER portfolio with empathy, advise managers, and ensure policies stay compliant as the business evolves.

Joining on an FTC basis, you’ll refresh UK&I policies, coach managers, and collaborate with the wider People team to scale HR operations while maintaining fairness and quality in all proceedings.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing a highly complex, sensitive ER caseload within an advisory or specialist environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK&I employment law with practical experience navigating change programs, restructures, trade union consultations, and tribunal prep.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset focused on balanced outcomes rather than just policy.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to build trust and challenge leaders when needed.
• Able to manage competing priorities with speed and resilience.
• Able to explain complex legal advice clearly and collaborate across HR functions.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly manage and resolve a high-volume portfolio of complex ER cases with autonomy.
• Guide managers through changes, restructures, and consultation processes.
• Represent the company in disciplinary, grievance, and collective consultation sessions.
• Refresh policies in line with UK&I legislation and provide practical coaching to improve management capability.
• Partner with the broader People team on projects to enhance HR operations.
