Job summary
ABB UK is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join the Automation Energy Industries team. The role covers installation, commissioning, maintenance and project support of MV/LV switchgear, protection relays, and VSD systems across oil & gas, marine and renewable sectors.

Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with MV/LV distribution experience.
- Proven experience commissioning, testing, maintaining MV/LV switchgear and protection relays.
- Knowledge of VSDs and industrial power systems according to IEC standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade MV/LV switchgear and VSDs.
- Provide remote and site technical support across the service lifecycle.
- Develop protection relay settings and power-system studies.
- Prepare documentation, drawings, tests, and method statements.
