Job summary

ABB is seeking an Electrical Technical Advisor (Solution Architect) for the UK to lead technical engagement across customer interactions and internal teams. You will architect and price competitive electrical solutions spanning HV/MV/LV switchgear, distribution boards, UPS, transformers, substations, drives and motors.

The role supports remote or hybrid work from the UK, with site options in St Neots or Aberdeen. Strong leadership, safety mindset, and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HV/MV/LV switchgear, LV distribution boards, UPS, transformers, packaged substations, drives and motors.
• Experience integrating electrical systems with control/telecom is a plus.
• Fluency in English and strong communication for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Act as Main Technical Authority for Electrical Solutions.
• Architect complete electrical solutions using ABB and third-party products.
• Prepare compelling technical offers that articulate value and win opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize discount strategies with Supply Chain.
