Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd. invites a skilled Electrical Field Engineer to join our field-based team covering Aberdeen and surrounding areas. You will install, test, commission, maintain and troubleshoot LV electrical systems at project sites, ensuring compliance with design specs, codes and deadlines.

The role requires 2–5+ years of field experience, strong knowledge of power systems, protection and control circuits, and a proactive approach to safety and training junior engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition wiring regs and standards
• C+G 2365 Level 3 qualification
• 2–5+ years of field experience
• Strong knowledge of power systems, protection and control circuits
• Willingness to travel and work in field environments

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing and commissioning of LV electrical systems
• Troubleshoot diagnostics and repair faults with minimal downtime
• Review engineering drawings and technical docs
• Ensure compliance with national/international electrical codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE)
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors for project execution
• Prepare technical reports and test results
