Job summary

Baltimore Consulting is seeking an EHC Plan Writer to support Annual Reviews for a Midlands Local Authority. You will manage statutory assessments, draft Education, Health and Care Plans from multi‑agency inputs, and work closely with families, schools and partner agencies to deliver person‑centred outcomes.

The role is remote, initially 3 months with potential to extend to 6+ months, paying £300 per day. Inside IR35 via Umbrella arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience writing EHC Plans for children and young people with SEND.
• Knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Proven ability to work with local government, education and public sector partners.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Writing, updating and maintaining Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Managing statutory assessment timelines from submission through to completion.
• Building relationships across services to enable multi-agency collaboration.
• Maintaining records and supporting statutory reporting requirements.
