Job summary

Workplace Options is seeking an EAP Counsellor in the UK for remote work. The role involves providing telephonic, video, chat, and email counselling to a global client base, delivering compassionate, client-centered care across diverse backgrounds.

Shifts include evenings and weekends, with salary £33,000–£36,600 and a range of wellbeing benefits. Full-time role, with ongoing professional development supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 diploma in Counselling.
• Full Registration with or member of a regulatory counselling body (BACP/BPS/UKCP/Other).
• Experience using short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, Integrative, Systemic counselling.

Responsibilities

• Provide single session telephonic and videocounselling, in-the-moment support and crisis telephonic management in a supportive, ethical and professional manner while maintaining client-confidentiality.
• Assess clients thoroughly to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling.
• Assess and manage high risk calls and working closely with individuals at risk.
• Appropriately refer clients to external resources or within WPO as part of our holistic approach.
• Maintain clear clinical and task-oriented documentation in case management system.
• Deliver comprehensive administrative support, acting as a key point of contact to assist clients and providers with service-related enquiries and issue resolution.
• Any additional tasks pertinent to the position, as deemed appropriate by management.
