Job summary

Palo Alto Networks (Idira) is seeking a Domain Consultant/Senior Solutions Engineer to cover the UK&I region. You will work with our existing customer base and design new standard approaches for access for all identities—human and non-human—based on Zero-Trust principles.

You will translate business needs into technical solutions, lead POCs, and drive the technical win during the sales cycle while guiding customers through digital transformation with Idira’s Identity Security Platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of presales and/or professional service experience in a high‑tech sales environment.
• Strong knowledge of IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and CSPs (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience with cloud security, cloud architecture, and directory services (AD/EntraID).
• Experience with IAM/PAM/IGA and enterprise security management.
• Understanding of security concepts and regulatory requirements.
• Desirable CISSP or CISA certifications.
• Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and design effective solutions.
• Willingness to travel ~30%.
• MIS/CS/IT/Cybersecurity degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical pre-sales support including solution demos and architecture reviews.
• Advise on Identity Security best practices and trends.
• Establish new standard approaches for deploying Idira's Identity Security Platform.
• Design tailored access concepts and guide customers through digital transformation.
• Lead technical customer POCs.
• Develop new and existing relationships to uncover sales opportunities.
• Support Idira and partner seminars and industry trade shows.
• Translate customer requirements to Product Management.
• Develop technical knowledge of Idira and related technologies.
• Mentor other solutions engineers when appropriate.
