Job summary

Absolute Digital Media in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Digital PR to own and grow our digital PR practice. You will lead client campaigns, oversee strategy, and shape the department’s processes and pricing.

You will hire and mentor the team, work with cross-functional SEO, content and link-building groups, and drive award-winning campaigns to strengthen client visibility and rankings.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of digital PR experience at senior/lead level.
• Portfolio of campaigns with national/top-tier coverage.
• Proven ability to own client relationships and retain clients.
• Strong relationships with journalists and energy to build a department.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver for digital PR clients: strategy, ideation, outreach, reporting, and client relationships.
• Lead data-led, creative campaigns that earn coverage and high-authority links.
• Design department workflows, standards, reporting templates, and tool stack.
• Grow the team: hiring plan and development for UK and offshore members.
• Collaborate with SEO/content/link-building teams to align digital PR with search and brand signals.
• Shape how we package and price digital PR and contribute to new business pitches.
• Raise Absolute's profile through awards entries, thought leadership, and industry events.
• Lead the awards strategy: identify campaigns, write entries, build a track record.
• Measure value: report on coverage quality, links, referral traffic, brand signals, and organic impact.
• Stay ahead: monitor journalism, news cycle, search and AI developments.
