Job summary

WSET is seeking an Instructional Design and Content Developer (FTC to 31/07/2027) to design and develop engaging, accessible learning resources for a global audience. You’ll collaborate with the Instructional Design and Content Development Manager to improve courses using evidence-based design and ADDIE.

The role requires experience across online, blended, and face-to-face formats, with a focus on inclusive design and learner-centered practice.

Qualifications

• Experience designing learning using ADDIE or similar instructional design models.
• Strong commitment to accessibility and inclusive, learner-centered design.
• Experience delivering learning across online, blended and face-to-face formats.
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and external content developers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality digital learning resources for global learners.
• Apply accessibility and inclusive design across all content.
• Integrate classroom, online and blended approaches across programmes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure quality and accessibility.
• Use learner insights to inform curriculum and delivery decisions.
• Support timely delivery of learning design work with cross-functional teams.
• Stay current with best practices in digital and blended learning.
• Maintain expertise in Canvas and tools like Articulate 360 and Genially.
