Job summary

WSET is seeking an Instructional Design and Content Developer (Part time) to design, develop and deliver accessible, engaging digital learning resources for global audiences across online, blended and face-to-face environments. You will apply ADDIE, accessibility and adult learning principles to support continuous improvement of WSET courses.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in instructional design and/or creation of learning content.
• Experience working with subject matter experts to develop accurate and effective learning content.
• Experience using at least one major Learning Management System, preferably Canvas.
• Competence in digital authoring tools, preferably Genially and the Articulate 360 suite.
• Good knowledge of adult learning principles, pedagogy and effective approaches to course design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Apply needs analysis techniques to identify learner requirements and objectives, with accessibility and inclusive practice.
• Collaborate with R&D to gather information supporting curriculum and course design.
• Support timely planning and delivery of instructional content with project management.
• Use learner insights to inform content and delivery approaches.
• Design and develop learning materials for classroom, virtual and online delivery.
• Brief content from SMEs or external experts to support accuracy and development.
• Use Genially and Articulate 360 to create interactive, accessible materials.
• Coordinate with external suppliers to produce multimodal content.
