Job summary

TwinStream Limited is hiring a DevOps Engineer to deploy and maintain a cross-domain system using an AMQP-based microservices architecture with Docker containers. You will ensure observability, SLAs/SLOs, and a robust CI/CD pipeline across production environments.

Key duties include promoting component versions, monitoring performance, and implementing automation to streamline operations. DV clearance eligibility is required, with remote work initially and possible on-site in Bristol later.

Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible).
• Experience with Docker containers and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker Swarm).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong SQL databases knowledge.
• Linux CLI, scripting and administration.
• Solid monitoring, auto-scaling and DR practices.
• AWS knowledge and cloud hosting experience.
• Experience with InfluxDB, Prometheus or Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Promote new component versions into production with DevOps processes.
• Maintain system availability using real-time monitoring and metrics.
• Instrument new metrics and alerts to pre-empt issues.
• Respond to alerts and incidents to minimise customer impact.
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders for capability changes.
• Apply automation to reduce manual operations.
