Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimise cloud infrastructure across multiple environments in a UK remote setting. The role focuses on secure, scalable, and resilient solutions using serverless, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and delivery teams to ensure proper governance, FinOps tagging, and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple environments within AWS.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Experience supporting modern architectures (React front-end, microservices, Lambda, Kafka).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of AWS networking concepts (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Experience administering IAM, MFA, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and manage multiple AWS environments across dev, test, staging, and prod.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure supporting React front-ends, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka.
• Support ETL and RPA integrations where relevant.
• Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
