Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support large-scale digital services in a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions, leveraging Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless/microservices architectures within a UK remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, deploying and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong CI/CD experience and Git-based workflows.
• Experience with modern application architectures including React front-end, microservices, Lambda, and event-driven patterns.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of AWS networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink) and IAM/MFA security controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and manage multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, prod).
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure for React front-end, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka.
• Support ETL and RPA integrations where applicable.
• Implement secure networking patterns and oversee API gateway (Kong Enterprise) deployments.
