Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting seeks an AWS DevOps Engineer to support large-scale digital services in a complex cloud environment in the UK. You'll build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments, collaborating with software developers, architects, testers, and delivery teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role covers AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and modern architectures including React

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and manage multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, prod).
Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
Manage AWS infra supporting React front-end apps, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka integrations.
Support ETL and RPA integrations.
Implement secure networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
Manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway deployment and operations.
Administer MFA and IAM roles/permissions for dev teams.
Tag and govern AWS resources per FinOps.
Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
Collaborate to improve automation, deployment efficiency and operational excellence.
Troubleshoot infra and deployment issues across clouds.
Contribute to cloud security best practices and continuous improvement.
Support accessible services aligning with WCAG 2.2 AAA.
