Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced Delivery Leader to oversee the development, maintenance, testing, and implementation of a large-scale healthcare system serving State Medicaid clients. This remote role requires up to 25% travel and accountability across multiple teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.

The position emphasizes strong client relationships, stakeholder management, and process improvement, with opportunities for bonus performance rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in software delivery with 5+ years in technical leadership or management roles.
• Experience overseeing delivery for enterprise healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid-related.
• Proven interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience managing and supporting matrixed teams.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Project and other project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of a large-scale healthcare system for Medicaid clients.
• Lead multiple teams to ensure timely, compliant solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and executives to align on program needs and priorities.
• Define development plans and governance for assigned projects.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members as needed.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, release management, and quality assurance processes.
