Job summary

RealAdvisor is seeking a business-oriented Data Scientist to join our remote-first team. You will consolidate data from product, marketing, CRM and transactions, build ML models, and run experiments to drive subscription growth.

You’ll present clear data stories to stakeholders and translate insights into product and marketing actions. This full-time freelance role offers a competitive monthly rate and cross-country collaboration with country managers to standardize metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data science or analytics.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience consolidating diverse data sources into reliable data pipelines.
• Experience with experiment design and causal inference.
• Hands-on ML experience and model evaluation.
• Ability to build dashboards and present insights clearly.
• Business-minded and proactive with end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate data from product, marketing, CRM and transactional systems into datasets.
• Perform product analytics to measure feature usage, journeys and retention.
• Design and run experiments (A/B, cohort, causal impact) to validate hypotheses.
• Build ML models for revenue optimization, churn, segmentation and forecasting.
• Analyze marketing performance to measure acquisition, LTV and ROI.
• Translate analysis into product changes and growth experiments.
• Report results with dashboards and data storytelling for stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally to standardize metrics and training; ensure data quality.
