Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to drive end-to-end data migration projects across UK healthcare systems. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage patient record transfers between EPR systems, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance in a predominantly remote role with occasional UK travel.

Ideal candidates have five or more years in project management within healthcare or large data migrations, plus data management and SQL Server expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project management experience, ideally in healthcare, technology or large-scale data migration projects.
• Technical qualification or at least two years' experience in data management, SQL Server or similar.
• Experience managing complex data movement between systems and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end data migration projects with internal teams, external organisations and system suppliers.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage safe transfer and transformation of patient records between EPR systems and ensure data quality and security.
• Escalate risks, issues and dependencies; maintain RAID logs and decision records.
• Collaborate with Information Governance and Clinical Safety to meet regulatory and patient-safety requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates to programme boards and stakeholders.
• Support data validation, testing and migration activities with technical teams.
