Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to manage end-to-end data migration projects within healthcare, ensuring patient data transfers are secure, accurate and on time.

The role is predominantly remote across the UK, with occasional travel; you will work with clinical systems teams, EPR suppliers and governance colleagues to deliver complex migrations and support service transformation.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare or large-scale data migration.
• Technical qualification or at least two years’ data management experience (SQL Server or similar).
• Proven track record in moving data between systems with data integrity.
• Knowledge of information governance and data protection in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Plan detailed project plans, timelines and deliverables for on-time delivery.
• Oversee data extraction, transformation, testing and migration activities.
• Escalate risks and maintain RAID logs and decision records.
• Coordinate with governance and safety colleagues to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates to programme boards and stakeholders.
