Job summary

Methods Analytics (MA) is seeking a Data Architect to join on a permanent basis with a focus on modern data platforms and cloud-native architectures. You will design end-to-end data solutions, mentor engineers, govern data standards, and collaborate with clients to deliver scalable data services across Azure stacks and streaming pipelines.

The role is largely remote with travel to client sites and MA offices in London, Sheffield, and Bristol.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Azure data stack and cloud data services.
• Extensive data modelling experience including Star Schema.
• Experience with large-scale data migrations and cloud databases.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern data standards across projects.
• Design end-to-end data architectures and data services.
• Lead complex data migrations from legacy to cloud-native platforms.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with engineers, data scientists and stakeholders.
• Evaluate technologies to meet client needs and ensure security and maintainability.
