Job summary

Methods Analytics (MA) is looking for a Data Architect to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is mainly remote with travel to client sites and visits to our offices in London, Sheffield, and Bristol.

You will advocate data standards, design end-to-end data solutions, and lead migrations to modern cloud-native platforms. You will mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the Azure data stack and cloud native data services across modern data platforms.
• Extensive data modelling experience including relational and dimensional models.
• Strong SQL skills with performance tuning for SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading data migration projects from legacy systems to cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern data standards across projects and the organisation.
• Design end-to-end data architectures and data services (APIs, streams).
• Lead complex data migrations to cloud-native platforms.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with engineers and data scientists.]
• Evaluate technologies to meet client needs and maintain security and quality.
