Civic Recruitment Limited in Maidstone, UK, is hiring a Case Handler to support damp and mould case management for a local authority under a five-month contract. You will manage caseloads, coordinate repairs and liaise with residents, surveyors and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

The role requires strong admin skills, knowledge of housing standards and Awaab's Law, and the ability to maintain accurate records while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Understanding of damp and mould legislation, including Awaab's Law.
• Knowledge of housing repairs processes and customer service.
• Power BI knowledge is desirable.
• Experience in administrative or case handling roles.
• Experience managing a caseload and coordinating multiple activities.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of damp and mould enquiries from initial report through to resolution, ensuring cases are progressed efficiently and within timescales.
• Respond to enquiries from residents, colleagues and external stakeholders professionally and empathetically.
• Assess and categorise damp and mould cases in line with procedures and legislation; escalate high-risk cases.
• Coordinate appointments, inspections and repair activities with surveyors, contractors and teams.
• Provide administrative support, including diary management and case record maintenance.
