Job summary

Your Housing Group is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our homebased team in the North West. You will handle tenant queries by phone and email, providing first-line support and aiming for first-call resolution while working a 35-hour week.

Initially, you will train full-time at our Birchwood Head Office for 4–5 weeks, then operate remotely with occasional travel for meetings and training. A pension and health benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Resilience to remain calm under pressure when handling difficult calls.
• Excellent communication with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to stay positive and proactive in improving service.
• Strong problem-solving to resolve issues on first contact.
• ICT literacy to update multiple systems while assisting customers.
• Experience handling high-volume contacts in a busy contact centre.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming queries by phone and email, providing first-line support to tenants.
• Diagnose simple repairs and address antisocial behaviour or related issues.
• Ensure first-call resolution where possible and log interactions accurately.
