• Experience in handling high value local authority EL and PL claims.
• Solid understanding of insurance principles and regulatory compliance.
• Building strong relationships and communicating effectively.

• Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-focused, highly organised, and confident in assessing liability and quantum.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of a diverse portfolio of local authority EL and PL claims, including property damage and personal injury.
• Assess liability, evaluate claims, and negotiate fair settlements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, brokers, suppliers, insurers, and claimants for a seamless experience.
• Provide trusted guidance and expert advice at every stage of the claims process.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency.
