Andy File Associates Ltd is partnering with a growing commercial insurance broker to recruit a Commercial Account Handler for a fully remote, home-based role.

You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and day-to-day inquiries while coordinating with insurers and underwriters to secure the right cover. There is strong potential for business development and growth.

Competenze

• Three years’ commercial insurance broking or account handling experience.
• Experience managing commercial renewals and mid-term adjustments.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and placement processes.
• Experience obtaining quotations and negotiating with insurers.
• Ability to review policy cover and terms, not just premiums.
• Strong communication, organisation and diary management.

Mansioni

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients with high service standards.
• Oversee full renewal process from reviews to quotations and policy inception.
• Handle mid-term adjustments and day-to-day client queries.
• Review changing business activities for gaps in cover or underinsurance.
• Obtain, compare and negotiate quotations from insurers.
• Prepare underwriting submissions and liaise with insurers and underwriters.
• Handle new business enquiries from fact-find to placement.
• Identify opportunities to win new clients and cross-sell.
• Maintain accurate client records and renewal diaries.
• Work with FCA requirements and compliance procedures.
