Job summary

Reed is representing a growing commercial insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler. You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and day-to-day account management with a focus on delivering excellent service.

The role requires strong product knowledge across Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, PI, and SME insurance, plus excellent communication and relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial insurance, in an Account Handler, Account Executive support, or Broker role.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products (Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, PI, Commercial Combined, SME).
• Ability to interpret policy wordings and explain cover clearly to clients.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across various sectors.
• Handle policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, endorsements, and general administration.
• Support new business enquiries and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Liaise with insurers to obtain quotations and negotiate terms as required.
• Respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation.
• Assist clients with claims enquiries and provide ongoing support during the process.
• Review existing cover arrangements and identify improvement opportunities.
