Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a hands-on Security Consultant to design, assess and govern security controls across cloud environments, applications and infrastructure. You will challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders and drive secure outcomes while partnering with engineering and operations teams to embed security into delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities include security maturity assessments, architecture reviews, risk reduction, and client-facing deliverables.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security experience across cloud environments, ideally AWS.
• Experience reviewing or implementing secure cloud architectures and landing zones.
• Strong consulting skills with ability to challenge assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state security maturity and define remediation roadmaps.
• Lead security architecture reviews across cloud, applications, IAM, data protection.
• Provide expert security consulting on strategy, risk reduction, and operating models.
• Design secure cloud landing zones, network segmentation, and identity models.
• Embed security into delivery pipelines and IaC practices.
• Support threat detection, incident readiness, and post-incident improvements.
• Produce client-facing deliverables including assessments and executive summaries.
