Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a hands-on Security Consultant to assess, design, improve and govern security controls across cloud environments and enterprise security domains. You will challenge customer assumptions, influence stakeholders and drive secure outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading security architecture reviews, embedding security into delivery pipelines, and guiding clients on risk reduction and operating model improvements. Strong consulting and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience securing cloud environments, especially AWS.
• Proven ability to design secure cloud architectures and landing zones.
• Strong understanding of IAM, logging, monitoring and encryption best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess current security maturity and identify remediation roadmaps.
• Lead security architecture reviews across cloud, applications and data protection.
• Provide expert security consulting on strategy, risk reduction and operating model improvements.
• Design secure cloud landing zones, logging, identity models and guardrails.
• Embed security into delivery pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Support threat detection, incident response readiness and post‑incident improvements.
