Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a hands-on Security Consultant who can blend technical delivery with client-facing consulting. The role covers security across cloud, apps, APIs, and infrastructure, challenging assumptions and driving secure outcomes with evidence-based guidance.

Ideal candidates have practical cloud security, IAM, SIEM, and incident response experience, plus strong communication and stakeholder management to support client engagements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud security across AWS, with secure landing zones and IAM.
• Experience assessing security maturity and remediation roadmaps.
• Ability to design secure cloud architectures and guardrails.
• Strong consulting skills with client-facing delivery experience.
• Experience translating requirements into practical security controls.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state security maturity and identify control gaps.
• Lead security architecture reviews across cloud, apps, and infrastructure.
• Provide expert consulting on security strategy and operating models.
• Design secure cloud landing zones, network segmentation, IAM models.
• Embed security into delivery pipelines and IaC practices.
• Support threat detection, incident response readiness, and improvements.
• Contribute to standards, policies, and client deliverables.
