Job summary

Canonical is hiring an Engineering Manager for the BootStack team. You will lead engineers delivering modern distributed systems on private infrastructure, including Kubernetes and OpenStack, with a strong focus on testing, reliability, and customer collaboration.

This globally remote role requires coordinating across continents, maintaining SLAs, and driving continuous improvement while aligning with product and operations. Expect travel for team events and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering software or leading operations teams.
• Experience with OpenStack and cloud technologies.
• Strong testing discipline and code quality practices.
• Experience leading distributed teams and communicating across stakeholders.
