Canonical is seeking cloud solutions architects and software engineers to design, deploy and hand over private and public cloud solutions. You will work hands-on across the Linux stack, use Python to develop Kubernetes operators, and contribute to open source infrastructure-as-code.

The role includes travel up to 25% and remote-first work arrangements. Ideal candidates have a CS degree and strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph, plus Linux networking.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related software engineering expertise.
• Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph).
• Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design private and public cloud solutions matching workload needs.
• Deploy, test and hand over solutions to support or managed services teams.
• Develop Kubernetes operators and open source infrastructure-as-code using Python.
• Work as a cloud solutions architect across Linux stack and applications.
