Macmillan Cancer Support is seeking a Cancer Information & Support Advisor to join our Support Line from a home-based location in the UK. This full-time role provides emotional support and essential information to people living with cancer and their loved ones during challenging times.

You will handle inquiries via phone, webchat and email, using a CRM to log interactions and work towards KPIs. The role offers a supportive team environment, training opportunities and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a contact centre environment.
• Ability to handle multiple customer queries calmly under pressure.
• Communication across phone, webchat and email channels.
• Experience using a CRM system to log customer interactions.
• Demonstrated resilience and ability to handle emotional content.
• Experience working towards defined goals and KPIs (e.g., call handling times).

Responsabilités

• Provide emotional support and essential information to people living with cancer and their loved ones.
• Respond to inquiries across multiple channels (phone, webchat, email) with empathy and accuracy.
• Maintain high-quality interactions while meeting performance KPIs.
• Record interactions accurately in the CRM and coordinate with the team as needed.
