Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst based in Billericay, Essex, to join the Business Systems team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will analyse business needs, define system and process solutions, and work with stakeholders to improve processes and explore AI opportunities.

The role involves leading discovery sessions, capturing requirements, coordinating testing and UAT, and supporting go-live while liaising with internal teams and third-party partners.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a retail head office.
• Strong background as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Experience analysing and supporting technology or business systems change.
• Strong requirements gathering and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience documenting business processes and translating needs into system requirements.
• Experience supporting the systems change lifecycle, including testing and implementation.
• Ability to analyse processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with testing, UAT and implementation activities.
• Interest in AI use cases and automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Understand business challenges, opportunities and requirements across DCK.
• Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops and process-mapping activities.
• Gather, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear system and process requirements.
• Own the business analysis activities for systems changes from discovery through handover.
• Analyse current and future-state processes to identify gaps and improvements.
• Evaluate potential solutions and document options, benefits and impacts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams and suppliers to clarify requirements.
• Assess impact on people, processes, data and integrations.
• Coordinate testing and UAT and support go-live activities.
• Explore AI opportunities and assess risks and benefits.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency via process redesign and automation.
• Document onboarding requirements for new business and ensure clear communication.
• Bridge between business teams and technology solutions.
• Maintain BA documentation including process maps, requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
