Knight Temple Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager for a remote, field-based role covering the Northern UK from the Midlands to Scotland and Northern Ireland. You will identify and secure new business while nurturing existing accounts, leveraging an engineering background to interpret customer requirements and deliver suitable crane solutions.

The role requires up to 75% travel within the UK and Ireland, with realistic OTE.

• Experience in complex project sales of high value industrial equipment.
• Proven ability to secure new business and grow through networking and follow-up.
• Ability to work with technical information and collaborate with the in-house technical team.
• Autonomous worker with strong planning aligned to business objectives.

• Deliver sales to new and existing clients within the Northern UK region.
• Identify potential customers and build long-term relationships.
• Engage with clients to specify crane requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with in-house technical team to ensure fit-for-purpose offerings.
• Travel extensively (75%+) within the UK and Ireland and manage the sales process remotely.
