Job summary

Knight Temple Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of loader cranes. The Business Development Manager will drive sales to new and existing clients across the UK, with a home-based remote setup and about 75% travel within the UK and Ireland.

A strong track record in industrial equipment sales and new business development is essential. Salary is circa £50k plus uncapped commission, with a realistic OTE around £85,000.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex project sales of high value industrial equipment.
• Proven track record of securing new business and growth.
• Ability to take on board product and technical information while collaborating with the in-house technical team.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% within the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales to new and existing clients within the Northern part of the UK (Midlands to Scotland and Northern Ireland).
• Identify potential customers and nurture existing ones, building long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with the in-house technical team to ensure a seamless client journey.
• Translate customer needs into technically appropriate crane solutions.
• Travel across the UK and Ireland as required to cover regional markets.
