Job summary

EA Associates in Essex seeks a versatile Business Development professional to cover bid coordination and marketing, working closely with the Business Development Director to identify opportunities and grow client relationships.

The role is predominantly home-based with occasional travel to London satellite office and the Head Office, offering flexibility and exposure to bids, tenders, and the wider growth strategy of the construction business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Business Development, Bid Coordination, Marketing, Sales Support or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Researching and identifying prospective clients, partners and new business opportunities
• Developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
• Coordinating outbound business development activity including emails, calls, meetings and follow-ups
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM information
• Coordinating bids and tenders from initial opportunity through to final submission
• Reviewing tender documentation and identifying key requirements and deadlines
• Producing bid plans, action trackers and submission programmes
• Liaising with internal teams to obtain technical, commercial and operational information
• Preparing, editing and formatting professional bid and proposal documentation
• Maintaining libraries of case studies, company information, CVs and supporting bid content
• Assisting with marketing campaigns and business development initiatives
• Producing presentations, brochures and capability statements
• Supporting website and social media content
• Coordinating networking events, exhibitions and client engagement activities
