Job summary

RS Group is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to work on strategic initiatives from a remote location within the UK. You will partner with business and technology teams to uncover needs, craft clear requirements and drive outcomes that deliver measurable value.

You will engage stakeholders early, define problem statements, ensure traceability of requirements, and support delivery through the entire lifecycle. This role offers a collaborative BA community and opportunities to grow expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business analysis across complex initiatives.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, testable requirements.
• Proven track record of collaborating with SMEs, architects and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to create shared understanding.
• Engage stakeholders early to identify needs, shape direction and support successful outcomes.
• Explore, analyse and validate business needs.
• Define clear problem statements and desired outcomes using structured Business Analysis techniques.
• Define and document business needs, requirements and solution scope.
• Ensure requirements are clear, testable and traceable from business need through to delivered value.
• Produce clear, testable requirements and maintain traceability from need to outcome.
• Collaborate with business SMEs, architects and engineering teams to enable effective solutions.
• Support delivery through the full lifecycle, ensuring requirements remain aligned to business outcomes.
• Help measure benefits and demonstrate value delivered.Apply consistent BA framework, standards and methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the BA practice/communities.
