Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a highly capable BMS Design Engineer to support the delivery of projects ranging from £30k small works to multi-million-pound schemes across multiple market verticals. This is a predominantly remote-based design role, with occasional site attendance for surveys, commissioning support, or on-site reviews.

You will own design outputs, review panel drawings, create points lists, and prepare handover packages for commissioning engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong BMS design experience across multiple market verticals.
• Ability to produce and review control documentation and handover packs.
• Excellent understanding of HVAC and building services.
• Proven ability to coordinate with OEMs, consultants, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce and develop BMS design documentation for projects from £30k to multi-million-pound schemes.
• Review panel drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and related documentation.
• Create points lists, schedules, and control documentation to support procurement, panel manufacture, software engineering, and commissioning.
• Work closely with OEMs, consultants, project managers, software engineers, panel builders, and commissioning engineers.
