Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a BMS Project Manager in the UK to lead end-to-end Building Management System projects from design through handover.

You will coordinate engineers, suppliers and clients, manage scope, risks and changes, and ensure energy-efficiency goals and regulatory compliance are met. A Bachelor's degree and 2–10+ years of experience are typical; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services) or related field.
• 2–10+ years in BMS/BAS project delivery or related field.
• Knowledge of BMS platforms and control strategies; ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BMS project lifecycle (design, installation, commissioning, handover).
• Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Develop project plans and track progress against milestones.
• Oversee design and implementation of BMS systems (HVAC, lighting, energy monitoring).
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and vendors; manage stakeholders and meetings.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost forecasts; manage risks and changes.
• Ensure systems meet quality standards and regulatory requirements; document handover.
