AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead bids into the MOD market. You will own the Bid Management Plan, coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with Shipley processes to deliver winning submissions.

You'll work with technical experts, consultants and business development staff, shaping win themes, managing budgets, and driving improvement of our bid capability while enjoying flexible and remote working arrangements.

Competenze

• Experience delivering bids from inception to interview, feedback and lessons learnt.
• Structured bid processes (e.g., Shipley) to produce high-quality submissions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• Maximise use of Office365, MS Project, CRM and sales techniques.
• Experience liaising with external and internal contacts at various levels.
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality and process discipline.
• APMP certification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience in matrixed or global organisations and with proposal tools.

Mansioni

• Own the Bid Management Plan and bid budget.
• Plan and schedule all required meetings and workshops.
• Develop the overall Bid Plan with the Bid Director.
• Engage with Client Director/Manager to capture client intelligence.
• Develop Win Themes and translate into storyboard and wireframes.
• Facilitate stakeholder/competitor analysis exercises.
• Build the appropriate bid team across the business.
• Oversee production and review of commercial and pricing model.
• Manage bid per Shipley process and best practices.
• Adhere to corporate bid processes with reviews and approvals.
• Maintain CRM data related to the opportunity.
• Post-contract handover to the Project Manager.
