Job summary

Be-IT Ltd is seeking an experienced Azure Engineer to take ownership of the organisation's Microsoft Azure platform in a fully remote role. You will act as the Azure SME, guiding cloud strategy, best practices, and automation initiatives, while partnering with security and compliance specialists to deliver resilient cloud solutions.

The role emphasizes technical ownership, strategic influence, and the delivery of modern Azure environments across the business, with opportunities to shape tooling

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep or similar)
• Proficient in Azure networking, compute, storage and identity
• Experience with Azure DevOps and automation tooling
• Scripting with PowerShell or Azure CLI
• Experience supporting and improving production cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and own technical decisions

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the organisation's Microsoft Azure platform
• Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud solutions
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Support cloud networking, identity and platform operations
• Improve platform performance, reliability and resilience
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Act as the internal Azure SME, providing technical leadership and best practice guidance
• Work with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to deliver cloud improvements and strategic projects
