Job summary

Experis leads an Azure Platform Engineering initiative and is seeking a Lead Azure Platform Engineer to provide technical leadership for a high-performing Agile delivery team responsible for designing, building, automating and supporting secure cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

The successful candidate will retain hands-on platform engineering capability while setting technical direction, planning, coordinating the team\'s work, assuring delivery quality, and supporting project

Qualifications

Strong Azure platform experience including Databricks, Azure Functions, IAM/RBAC, Storage, Networking, VMs, Key Vault, Monitoring.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical leadership and direction, assigning work by priorities and plan.
Plan platform engineering activity across sprints and delivery increments.
Direct sprint planning, refinement, delivery, review and retrospectives.
Review and approve work against acceptance criteria, standards, security controls and docs.
Maintain RAID log with owners, impacts and mitigations; forecast progress.
Record decisions in logs and documentation.
Provide governance reporting on delivery status, risks and actions.
Liaise with Architecture to implement approved HLD and keep solutions traceable.
