Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support delivery of large-scale digital services in a complex AWS cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments.

Candidates should have strong experience with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and modern architectures including serverless, microservices, React front-end, and event-driven integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple environments within AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of API management platforms such as Kong Enterprise.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage multiple AWS environments across development, test, staging, and production.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure for React front-end applications, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka integrations.
• Support integrations involving ETL processes and RPA solutions.
• Implement and manage secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Administer MFA and IAM roles and permissions for development teams.
• Ensure resources are tagged and governed under FinOps standards.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across cloud environments.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices and continuous improvement.
• Support accessible digital services aligning with WCAG 2.2 AAA.
