Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale digital services within a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments.

The role requires strong experience with AWS services, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), API gateway management (Kong Enterprise), and modern architectures (React frontend, microservices, serverless).

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple environments within AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Experience supporting modern architectures (React, microservices, AWS Lambda, Kafka).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Security controls such as IAM/MFA and network security.

Responsibilities

• Support setup, configuration, and management of multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, production).
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage AWS infrastructure supporting React front-end, microservices, Lambdas, and Kafka integrations.
• Support ETL and RPA integrations.
• Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
• Tag resources and govern according to FinOps standards.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices.
