Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support delivery of large-scale digital services in a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across development, test, staging, and production environments.

The role requires strong experience with AWS services, CI/CD, IaC, and serverless architectures including React front-end integration, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage AWS environments across dev, test, staging and prod.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure for React apps, microservices, Lambda and Kafka.
• Support integrations with ETL and RPA where applicable.
• Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Oversee Kong Enterprise API Gateway deployment and management.
• Enforce IAM, MFA, and security controls for development teams.
• Tag resources per FinOps governance and cost controls.
• Monitor performance, availability and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to cloud security and continuous improvement.
