Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting in the UK seeks an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimise scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines across environments. You will work with developers, architects, testers and delivery teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions.

You will implement IAM, MFA and security controls, apply FinOps governance, and integrate Kong Enterprise for API management.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on IAM, MFA and security controls administration.
• Familiarity with Kong Enterprise and API management.

Responsibilities

• Support setup, configuration and management of multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, prod).
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infra for React front-ends, microservices, Lambda functions, and Kafka events.
• Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink) and MFA/IAM controls.
• Support ETL/RPA integrations and cloud governance/FinOps practices.
• Ensure accessibility and WCAG alignment in front-end solutions.
