Job summary

Scrumconnect Ltd seeks an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to optimise and scale digital services in a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.

The role requires strong experience across AWS services, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and modern architectures including serverless, microservices, and event-driven integrations; you will

Qualifications

Extensive experience with AWS cloud environments and DevOps practices.
Strong ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Experience with security, compliance, and FinOps in cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

Support setup and management of multiple AWS environments across dev, test, staging, and prod.
Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
Manage AWS infrastructure supporting React front-end apps, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka event integrations.
Assist with ETL processes and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) integrations.
Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
Support deployment and management of Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
Manage MFA and IAM roles/permissions for development teams.
Ensure resources are tagged and governed per FinOps standards.
Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
Collaborate to improve automation, deployment efficiency, and operational excellence.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployments; contribute to cloud security best practices.
Support accessible digital services aligning with WCAG 2.2 AAA standards.
