Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across dev, test, and production environments in the UK. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, manage serverless and microservices deployments, and ensure secure networking and governance across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale digital services on AWS.
• Proficient in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and FinOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and manage multiple AWS environments (dev/test/stage/prod).
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infra supporting React front-ends, microservices, Lambda and Kafka.
• Support ETL processes and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) integrations.
• Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
• Administer MFA and IAM roles/permissions for development teams.
• Ensure resources are tagged and governed per FinOps standards.
• Monitor performance, availability and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices and accessibility requirements.
